Good Form Running
GFR is a process of training intended to help you run faster, more efficiently, and injury free. With a focus on proper mechanics, GFR aims to help runners of all ages and abilities achieve these goals. GFR addresses Alignment and proper Biomechanics, providing you ways to make adjustments to your form for improvement.
Injury Prevention Clinic - Let's Roll! looks at common injuries/ailments, the causes, and what you can do to better manage your body. This session will be interactive, including instruction on strengthening, rolling & massaging your muscles with purpose.
Clinics are 2-hrs in length & held at Fleet Feet Sports Fox Valley, unless otherwise noted. Wear workout clothes (minimal running, but there will be drills to practice) and running shoes. This program is great for both beginners and advanced athletes.
When life happens, sometimes injuries come along with it. Running longer distances, pushing hard at the gym, trotting around in uncomfortable shoes, or sitting in an office chair all day can contribute to aches and pains, or worse, having to stop your workouts.
There are some great techniques and products you can use to treat injuries to get you moving again. Better yet, sometimes a few tweaks to your routine can improve flexibility and strengthen the necessary areas to help prevent them altogether.
